It was in this setting that Chef Tsuyoshi Yamakawa orchestrated an evening conceived for a group of around ten guests — investors brought together by their shared passion for gastronomy. The dinner, priced at €500 per person, included a curated wine pairing for every course.
Tsuyoshi Yamakawa: a cuisine between precision and emotion
Born in Tokyo, Tsuyoshi Yamakawa is one of those chefs whose work defies easy categorisation. His cooking is Japanese in its philosophy — absolute precision, respect for the ingredient, economy of gesture — but enriched by French and Mediterranean influences that deepen it without ever diluting it. Each plate is a composition: a balance of texture, temperature and flavour, considered in every detail.
For this evening at La Source, he presented a six-course tasting menu, completed by desserts and mignardises, each service accompanied by a wine selected to extend the experience.
